What We Stand For

We built Batch to make mealtimes easier — not perfect.

Because real life isn’t tidy, and dinnertime rarely goes to plan. Whether you're feeding a family, cooking for one, or stocking the freezer for someone you love, we believe good food should be ready when you need it.

Here’s what guides every meal we make:

Our Mission

We cook wholesome, freezer-friendly meals from scratch using ingredients we'd use at home, then portion them so you can heat what you need and save the rest for another day.

Because eating well shouldn't have to be complicated.

What Matters to Us

Real Ingredients

We cook with ingredients you'd recognise from your own kitchen.

No weird stuff. No unnecessary extras. Just good food, made well.

Respect for Your Time

Life gets busy.

Our meals are made to take one thing off your plate, whether you're planning ahead or figuring out dinner at 5:30.

Food That Fits Real Life

Not everyone eats the same amount, and not every day looks the same.

That's why every meal is portioned so you can heat what you need and keep the rest frozen for another time.

Always Improving

Every batch teaches us something.

We listen, learn, and keep improving because that's how better food is made.

Flavour Comes First

Convenient doesn't have to mean boring.

Every recipe is cooked from scratch with the same care we'd put into a meal for our own family.

Meet the Parents Behind Batch Kitchen.

We're Adrian and Holly, parents to Miles — our Chief Taste Tester and the original inspiration behind Batch Kitchen.

Like most families, we were juggling work, daycare pickups, and the nightly scramble to get something — anything — on the table.

So we started batch cooking. Stocking our freezer with small-portioned meals made from real ingredients, using flavours our toddler would (mostly) eat. It wasn't fancy. But it worked.

With Adrian's background as a trained chef — and the lived reality of working parent life — we leaned into what helped: freezer-friendly, flexible meals ready in minutes. The kind that take the pressure off at 5:15 p.m., when everyone's tired and dinner still has to happen.

That small shift made a big difference.

And it turns out, we weren't the only ones who needed it.

Friends living on their own loved that they could heat just what they needed. Grandparents appreciated having homemade meals ready in the freezer. Busy families stocked up for the nights when life got hectic. We realised Batch Kitchen wasn't just solving our dinner dilemma — it was helping all kinds of people make mealtimes a little easier.

So we turned our sanity-saving routine into Batch Kitchen: real food, frozen and ready when you are.

Cooked from scratch with real ingredients and portioned for real life, Batch Kitchen is here to take one thing off your plate — literally.

Whether you're feeding a toddler, cooking for one, or stocking the freezer for someone you love, we're here when time and energy are running low.

No weird stuff. Just real food, made for real life.
